As part of the Pedestrian Space Global URBAN HEAT Media Lab and network in development, we are recording our conversations with incoming collaborators around the world as well as students interested in pursuing academic internships related to the project.
As part of that, we met with Eva Chauveau, who is currently working as an Urban Planner in Atlanta, Georgia, and also in the process of getting an MSc in Global Development from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
Eva has been specifically focusing on urban heat in the Metro Atlanta area and is working on an Urban Heat Mitigation and Action Plan for DeKalb County. She joins the Global URBAN HEAT Media Lab and developing network as she is in the process of gathering data for their Urban Heat Mitigation and Action Plan and views it as an amazing learning opportunity to better understand how to synthesize strategies for regions facing an urban heat crisis.
