Pedestrian Space was established as a media advocacy and communication platform, featuring diverse media dedicated to helping to shape awareness about walkability as a foundational element of sustainable and resilient urbanism.
In October 2022, I began my work as a PhD student at the Warsaw-based Anthropos Doctoral School, with a research focus on using the city as a laboratory for documenting best practices and barriers of walkability in the 15-minute city context.
Between December 2022 and December 2023, I crafted and hosted over 20 Urban Mobility Workshops in Warsaw while also increasing research focus on Służewiec, my case study area (a formerly monofunctional business area transforming into livable urban quarter).
I look forward to continuing to cultivate and help shape diverse partnerships to support projects that center walkability as a foundational featuring of urban resilience and sustainable cities.
