PHILOSOPHY OF CONTENT
Flexibility and diversity are cornerstones of our philosophy of content at Pedestrian Space. We value featuring a wide range of content including pieces that could be read on a short bus or metro ride as well as longer articles exploring an issue in depth.
We publish interviews, research articles, essays, opinion pieces, photo series, project briefs and more. We carry the energy of a magazine to our site, keeping in mind a diverse readership
TOPICS & THEMES
At Pedestrian Space we focus on issues through the lens of walkability and pedestrianization. Visit Areas of Focus to learn more about some of our central themes.
As we prioritize publishing a wide range of content at Pedestrian Space, we remain flexible in contribution length and welcome submissions up to approximately 1500 words. Additionally, submissions can be very brief in nature or with primary focus on visual elements.
If you have any questions about your submission, please do not hesitate to contact us with questions.
PHOTOS, VISUALS & OTHER GRAPHICS
We always appreciate a visual component to an article (though it is not essential). When sending your photos and graphics, please include any necessary text for captions as well as credits.
Please prepare your biography in 3rd person along with a photo of yourself (if you would like published with your bio) and include links to websites and social media handles you would like published with the piece.
