Urban Transit Lab programming is designed to be flexible to diverse partner and community needs, with an ongoing commitment to experimenting with and documenting how mobility decisions can link to climate action and how the community can be engaged in issues of transportation equity, accessibility and public space.

Urban Transit Lab was founded in 2023 by Annika Lundkvist and Alan LR with a pilot media-focused program launched in October 2023 in partnership with Warszawski Transport Publiczny and a research-partnership launched with Brussels-based Mobilise research team at VUB – Vrije Universiteit Brussel in September 2023.

We look forward to diverse municipal, academic and community partnerships that will help showcase voices of sustainable mobility as well provide programming to shift awareness about public transportation in communities where it has traditionally been stigmatic but is undergoing improvements
