Malmö is Sweden’s third largest city and fits the profile of a ’20 minute city’ well. Within the city itself, neighborhoods and various city quarters are easily reached by cycle, public transportation and often by foot. Suburbs are well connected as well – with foot & bicycle paths and bus as well as a metro line that extends from the central station, across the Õresund Bridge to Copengagen.
Malmö is extremely walkable and the connectivity to suburbs especially demonstrates best practices to glean inspiration from. The city is also extremely diverse, liveable and with abundant nature and green space.
We look forward to sharing more about Malmö as it is truly a great example of a city committed to development of sustainable urbanism.
