What can Global Walkability Correspondents do?

WHAT CAN PARTICIPANTS IN THE GLOBAL WALKABILITY CORRESPONDENTS NETWORK DO?

PARTICIPATE IN WORKING GROUPS: See more on working groups here: Learn more here: https://pedestrianspace.org/network-working-groups/

LEAD / CO-LEAD WORKING GROUPS: Working groups were established in the Network in March 2022. We currently have a very diverse range of thematic as well as geographically related groups .

CREATE VISUAL & WRITTEN CONTENT: All activities in the network are voluntary, but for those participants who want to publish at pedestrianspace.org, submissions of a broad range are welcome.

We also encourage participants who want to publish to pitch such content to other platforms, diversifying and expanding the media ecosystem for content, narratives and advocacy for walkability.

• PARTICIPATE IN ROUNDTABLES & WORKSHOPS: Pedestrian Space and the network hosts a series of workshops and roundtables that are open for participants to join.

COVER CONFERENCES & EVENTS: When possible, we assist network participants to be able to cover related conferences and events with press passes.

As of March 2023, the Global Walkability Correspondents Network has over 180 participants in over 65 countries and 150 cities around the world in Oceania, Asia, Middle East, Africa, South America, Central America, North America, Europe and is growing.
