At the ‘Global URBAN HEAT Media Lab’ project we have a group forming amongst network participants to plan a visual study of public transit & shade across cities.
With network participants participating from Addis Ababa (Ethiopia), Ahmedabad (India), London (UK), New York City (USA), Tehran (Iran), Szczecin (Poland) – and likely more to come- I look forward to a very interesting overview not only of shade at different public transit stations in cities worldwide but also exploring what thermal refuge means in the local context.
