Mobility Equity & Choice

We recently had our first discussion with Councilor Giuseppe Grezzi  Deputy Mayor of Sustainable Mobility & Public Space in Valencia, Spain. We talked about many issues and initiatives related to the city’s sustainable urban mobility plan as well as issues around car-centric planning and marketing, such as the idea of the car as ‘freedom’.

As Councilor Grezzi noted during our talk, “Car-based is not equitable when you don’t have freedom to choose.

Sustainable urban mobility offers a diversity of accessible, affordable options while also prioritizing sustainability goals and shifting away from car-centric planning and mindsets.

We look forward to learning more about developments in Valencia!
