It was an essential process for me, earlier this year, to put together a global and diverse guest editorial team for this special issue and we have created exactly that.
This special issue is also close to my heart as an urban researcher, as a walkability advocate and as a human who prioritizes being able to walk in my daily life. Mobility Justice is at the heart of the paradigm shift needed in societies worldwide to re-prioritize walkability in our urban environments.
We look forward to submissions from around the world, including:
•Research papers
•Case studies
•Scholarly commentary pieces
•Practitioner reflective learning and commentary pieces
•Photo and image-based contributions, essays and case studies
•Visual material is strongly encouraged as the journal has a global audience and we intend to show local urban context in different environments around the world.
