There is a lot to share from the 1st GWCN: Global Walkability Correspondents Network retreat we recently hosted! Included here is a brief synopsis and just a few snapshots.

We had network members joining us in Poland from Spain, Portugal, Germany, Sweden, Italy, Scotland, England and more.

It was an international and very engaged group of network participants who visited Warsaw for an action-packed weekend of presentations, workshops, walking labs and lots of time to socialize and enjoy company.

The 1st Global Walkability Correspondents Network Retreat was held in Warsaw, Poland from September 29th 2023 – October 1st 2023

The activity-rich weekend included:

  • Lectures and Presentations by network members
  • A Tour of Otwarty Jazdów
  • Tour of Diuna, a former parking lot transformed to ecologically-oriented business park
  • ’Mordor’ Walking Lab
