WHO

I have always enjoyed learning from my surroundings. For me, Architecture is that avenue to contiuously learn, explore and create. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from the University of Asia Pacific and I am passionate about Built Form, Urban Planning, Neighborhood Design, and leveraging design ideas through critical thinking to create a sustainable community with great social interaction.

I currently work as an Architect in Bangladesh as a team member of the Architecture Division at Data Experts (Pvt.) Limited. Urban planning, public space and affordable housing design are major responsibilities of my assigned projects.

WHERE

I live in Dhaka which is the capital of Bangladesh. I completed my school and university in this city. Obviously there are so many issues as our country is in the first stage of development. With regards to street and pedestrian networks, there are huge opportunities to work for standard pedestrian design, safety issues, child and age-friendly planning, material selection, urban landscape and so on. I am sure decision-making and strategy will change the scenario soon as well.

As a Walkability Correspondent, I will represent the city ‘Dhaka’ and uphold the image of the city in this platform.

WHY WALKABILITY

As I am an Architect and currently working in the urban planning and design sector where pedestrian and cycle network are major aspects, I am interested in learning more about global conditions. I look forward to gaining ideas on how some of the problems are solved globally and applying the knowledge in my upcoming projects.

I am passionate about Built Form, Urban Planning, Neighborhood Design and leveraging design ideas through critical thinking to create a sustainable community with great social interaction.
