Excerpt from a recent talk with Madison-based Geologist Keely Campbell, Urban Planner Amanda Arnold & Eau Claire-based Landscape Architect Chris Silewski. All three are colleagues at Ayres Associates, a multi-specialty architectural and engineering consulting firm.
Our city rating talks are very much conversational in nature and not meant to produce quantitative results but rather explore the narrative and experience behind people’s scores.
One of the several things I love about these chats with folks worldwide is hearing a bit about their backgrounds, often including their own mobility choices & behaviors along with the context of the environments they live in.
This talk was so interesting and spanned reflection of several cities. We did a city walkability rating (video below) as well for both Eau Claire & Madison.
