Last month was my first time in the city of Katowice for the Kongres Nowej Mobilności | New Mobility Congress (see more here on my participation). I look forward to returning one day to see friends and acquaintances living here and explore more of the region.
And to tram watch and ride!
I found it very endearing that the trams have names and would like to see more of them (and their names) next time.
While walking to the Congress with another conference attendee, I wondered, is it mainly us ‘transit nerds’ who get excited about such things?
Or do such details have the potential to also draw ‘mobility affection’ or interest from the general population (i.e. NOT the transit nerds).
