Mission
The Voices of Walkability project welcomes diverse voices from a range of disciplines and walks of life – practitioners, academics, neighborhood advocates, and more – who share insights on the experience of moving by foot in our communities.
The project brings together narrative essays, case studies, visual content, and awareness-raising commentaries to create an engaging, accessible platform for exploring walkability in everyday life.
Vision
Voices of Walkability seeks to build a shared understanding of how walking shapes identity, belonging, and connection to place – fostering more inclusive, safe, and walkable communities across India and beyond.

Our current call for submissions is on ‘Seasons and Walking’. Read more here: https://voicesofwalkability.substack.com/p/submissions
