Shaded bus stops

Urban heat is a severe issue in many cities around the world. I’m always so happy when I come across a bus or tram stop with good shade, a place where people can rest comfortably while waiting rather than be miserable and potentially suffer overheating and heat exhaustion.

It’s getting warmer here in Warsaw now and I look forward to spending some of my moments in transit over the next few months documenting examples of well-shaded bus and tram stops.
